Named after the 1941 movie, which starred Humphrey Bogart.

After the "Metal Rush" album, Maltese Falcon recorded two demos with material for the second album but nothing really happened and the band split-up during mid-1986.

Release the Maltese Falcon, which featured original vocalist Charlie and members of his band Release, played at Metal Magic Festival VIII (July 2015).
