Stefan Niebling was the original vocalist, but he left shortly before Metallic Alps was recorded. Mick Wega was brought in as a replacement and sang on the album, but also left soon. At this point Niebling rejoined.

The band's name came from Raven's 1982 "Crash, Bang, Wallop" song and EP title.
