Blackholicus combined elements of punk, prog rock and baroque with a foundation of heavy/speed metal.
Following their debut album in 2006 they were named in the Austin Music Awards as one of the top metal bands of the city. They toured the US in 2009 and occasionally played live in 2010 and 2011.
